The French winger has made 152 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain since his move from Lyon, netting 39 goals and providing 37 assists. His contributions were pivotal in securing 13 trophies, including two Champions League titles and three Ligue 1 championships. He also boasts 28 caps and six goals for the French national team.

Barcola's transfer will mark the largest sale in Paris Saint-Germain's history.

Liverpool had also been linked with his teammate Ibrahim Mbaye, who now appears destined for Aston Villa. It was confirmed today that the Birmingham club has reached an agreement with PSG for his transfer, reportedly worth €55 million.
