Valencia enjoyed a strong start and held a seven-point lead after the opening ten minutes. The visitors stretched their advantage to nine points early in the second quarter, but a major dip in form quickly followed.

Barcelona responded with a flurry of three-pointers from Parra, Punter, and Martin, rapidly closing the gap before taking the lead. Valencia managed to steady the ship before halftime, heading into the break with a slender lead courtesy of an Armoni Brooks triple.

The hosts regained control in the third quarter. Barcelona capitalized on their dominance in the paint, while Valencia struggled to find defensive answers. The lead grew to 12 points at one stage, and the Catalans took an eight-point cushion into the final ten minutes.

However, the final stretch brought high drama. Barcelona once again built a double-digit lead, but the visitors steadily chipped away, with Osetkowski and Mirotic pulling them to within just two points.

Barcelona had an opportunity to ice the game from the charity stripe, but Gibson made only one free throw. That handed Valencia one last possession to equalize, but Mirotic failed to hit the shot that would have sent the contest into extra time.
