The 26-year-old forward is expected to sign a five-year contract with his new club. It appears PSG succeeded with an increased offer, having reportedly bid 40 million euros to the current Spanish champions on Monday, according to AFP.

Torres joined Barcelona in January 2022, primarily serving as a substitute. Last season, he featured in 49 competitive matches, scoring 21 goals. He also netted the winning goal in the recent World Cup final against Argentina in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
