Agoraphobic grand mum falls into hole after stepping outside

57 year old grandmother Janet Faal who was gradually recovering from agoraphobia has suffered a huge setback after falling down into a manhole.

Janet who went out with her friend, tried to move a pallet so that her friend could reverse. Unknowingly the pallet was covering a manhole which she fell into. She did splits as she fell down the shaft.

The grand mum suffered fractured her leg and facial bruises. Her case of agoraphobia is back too.

"I was with a friend – it’s hard for me to go anywhere, but I was getting better. Now I’m not so sure" she said.

"I was helping her reverse out of a car park, and there was this wooden pallet in the way. I moved the pallet and took a step over – never in my life did I think there was a hole underneath, I thought it had just fallen over" narrated Janet Faal.  "The next thing I remember is the pain. It was awful" she further recollected.
