The decision to get plastic surgery is a personal one, but Ayesha Curry says in a new interview that she rushed into a recent procedure-and unfortunately, it left her with a botched boob job.

Ayesha told Working Mother that she had breast augmentation after giving birth to her second child, Ryan, now 3, and breastfeeding. (Just FYI: Ayesha has three children with her husband, NBA star Stefan Curry.)

I didnt realize at the time, but after having Ryan, I was battling a bit of postpartum that lingered for a while, Ayesha said. It came in the form of me being depressed about my body. So I made a rash decision.

Ayesha said that her intention was just to have them lifted, but she ended up with these bigger boobs I didnt want when the whole thing was over. "I got the most botched boob job on the planet," she said. "Theyre worse now than they were before."

The whole thing has seemingly turned her off plastic surgery for the future. I would never do anything like that again, she said. Still, she doesnt judge other women who want to have work done. Im an advocate of if something makes you happy, who cares about the judgment? she said.

Ayesha also said she wants people to support each other more in general and that her own community needs to embrace everyone better. Sometimes I feel like Im too black for the white community, but Im not black enough for my own community, she added.

As for her new partnership with Covergirl, Ayesha said shes happy to have to have it because she doesnt fit the mold. Im not in the entertainment industry, in the traditional sense. Im not thin; Im 170 pounds on a good day.

Overall, Ayesha says she's made some mistakes-but she's owning them, which is all part of the process. "Its been a journey for me, and thats why I want my girls to understand who they are-and to love it, she said.
