Ghana FA declares war on disciplinary misconducts

The Bison, Michael Essien will face the FA sanction after his boycott of a training match at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The Ghanaian is faced with lots of disciplinary conducts against some of its stars with Kevin Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari sanctioned after they were slammed with suspension from the national after unruly acts of indiscipline.

Essien’s boycott was regarded as a protest against the exclusion of Muntari and Boateng from the team while at the World Cup.

An official of the Football Association said on Wednesday July 3: “Management will take a position on that (boycott)“We are not going to condone any case of indiscipline.

''You can be the best player in the team. If you don’t behave yourself the axe will fall on you.’’The official added in admonition to the players: “You must also bear in mind that indiscipline is infectious. If you don’t amputate it from the team, it will spread and affect the rest of your players.”

Essien’s case adds up to the number of Ghanaian stars to be on the headlong with the FA.
