Atletico Madrid has reportedly finally agreed to grant star forward Julián Álvarez his wish for a transfer. The club is prepared to sell the striker, not to Barcelona, but to Arsenal, though Álvarez himself has rejected this option, according to "Mundo Deportivo."
It's well-known that until now, the "Rojiblancos" had vehemently refused Álvarez's demands to move to Barcelona, insisting they wanted to keep him at all costs. However, the relationship between the club and Álvarez deteriorated to such an extent that the management ultimately agreed to sell him, but not to a direct rival. Instead, they offered him to the English champions. The former Manchester City player, however, not only declined the opportunity to return to the Premier League but also became even more disgruntled with his superiors.
