Atletico Chief to Barcelona: We Won't Sell Julián Even for 200 Million

Atletico Madrid has once again emphatically rejected the possibility of selling their Argentine star, Julián Álvarez, to Barcelona. In an interview with the club's television channel, CEO Miguel Ángel Gil Marín assured that the "Rojiblancos" would not sell the forward at any price.

"My position is clear, and so is the club's, which we have communicated to the player, his representatives, and Barcelona's president. I have absolutely no doubt that Atletico is the best place in the world for Julián, and that he is the perfect central striker for Atletico. We want to keep him. I recently heard a statement from their president suggesting that their offer to Atletico was not unlimited. The only possible reaction is that our response, however, truly is unlimited. We do not want to sell him. We did not accept an offer of 100 million, nor will we accept one for 150 or 200 million," stated Gil Marín.
