Arteta Vows to Learn from Brighton Defeat

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta offered no excuses after his team's perfect start to the Premier League season was brought to a crashing halt with a 3-0 defeat to Brighton.

Arsenal had won their opening four matches, conceding just one goal, but were unable to contend with the Seagulls' superior performance. The North London side now sits second in the table with 12 points from five games, trailing leaders Manchester City on goal difference.

“They deserved to win the game; they were the better side, especially at the start of the first half. We weren't at the required level. We made technical errors in critical areas and lost our duels. However, I need to put into perspective what the team has achieved since the start of the season. I think it's been exceptional. We will learn from this experience and move forward,” Arteta stated.

The Gunners' next fixture is at home against Leeds.
