Out-of-contract Arsenal man, Bacary Sagna is set to sign a deal with his new club Manchester City. The Frenchman's contract expired at the end of the season and he is unwilling to extend it at Arsenal which now makes him a free player.

A deal is thought to have been agreed to by Sagna and Man City, which will earn the player £120,000 a week for three seasons. He is a requirement to the strengthening of Coach Manuel Pellegrini's defensive options for the coming season.

Sagna's signing to Manchester City causes no stir to the club's management regarding the  £49m net transfer budget sanction imposed on the club by UEFA's FFP as he is in acquisition as free agent. The Club is also being linked with a move for Porto's Fernando in a bid estimated to be worth about £20m.
