Arsenal is awaiting final confirmation regarding the transfer of winger Leandro Trossard to Besiktas. As a potential replacement for the Belgian international, Club Brugge's 24-year-old forward Christos Tzolis has emerged as a strong candidate.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tzolis is highly enthusiastic about the prospect of joining Arsenal and has put another offer on hold while awaiting the Gunners' decision. However, the London club's primary transfer target remains Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers.

The Greek forward is expected to cost Arsenal around £35 million. Should the two clubs reach an agreement, Tzolis would sign a five-year deal with the English champions.
