Arsenal did not disclose the length of their new player's contract but confirmed he would wear the number 30 shirt. Meslier himself expressed his excitement about the move.

"I am very happy and very proud to join Arsenal. I can't wait to show how much I love this club and this badge. And I can't wait to start winning trophies with this team, because this is a club that should be winning titles again and again," the goalkeeper told the Gunners' press office.

Meslier was part of Leeds from 2020, making 215 appearances, conceding 286 goals, and keeping 70 clean sheets. Last season, he did not feature in a single match for the Yorkshire side.
