The claims were however denied by the Army which accused AI of “dabbling into national security in manners that obliterate objectivity, fairness and simple logic.”

Amnesty International said further that it had shared the report with the Attorney General of the Federation, Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Inspector General of Police and the Director-General of the State Security Services on September 30, 2016, but none of them could give answers to the questions raised in the report.
