According to several media reports Lewandowski is on his way to Spanish giants Real Madrid after requesting to leave Bayern.
Lewandowski is said to been keen on a move to Madrid and has concluded contractual negotiations, with the Spanish side, all that is left is for an agreement with Bayern.
Bayern Munich are however making contingency plans to soften the blow of a possible departure of their top marksman.
Bayern top chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has dismissed a potential summer departure for Lewandowski, stating that he can say with certainty that he will not leave the Bundesliga giants.
According to a report by , Bayern have started compiling a list of potential targets to replace Lewandowski if he eventually leaves.
The report states that Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata is top of the list, among the three men shortlisted as replacements.
The Spanish center-forward may not be having the best possible season with Chelsea but Bayern Munich are reportedly persuaded by his young age ahead of Paris Saint-Germain’s Edison Cavani.
