Chelsea boss, Conte want want-away Arsenal star

Sanchez is close to leaving Arsenal this season after feeling frustrated with the club’s repeated collapse of their Premier League and Champions League title challenges.

The 28-year-old will have only a year left on his Arsenal contract at the end of the season.

According to a report, Conte has ordered Chelsea to do all they can to sign Sanchez in the summer.

Conte has reportedly sounded the Chilean forward as a high priority target to Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia and technical director Michael Emenalo.

Sanchez’s contract at Arsenal is worth £130,000-a-week and the forward wants an increase to something in the region of £250,000-a-week.

Chelsea’s main stumbling block might be an agreement between Sanchez and Arsenal that he cannot sign for another club when he leaves in the summer.

To avoid a situation similar to that of Robin van Persie, Arsenal have told Sanchez he cannot sign for another Premier League team.

The former Barcelona player is likely to sign for Paris Saint-Germain who are willing to offer him a weekly wage of £300,000.

Juventus are also interested in the former Udinese forward.
