Iwobi was a 69th-minute substitute in the game, his first for Arsenal since their 2-2 league draw against Manchester City on April 2.

After the game, he took to Instagram to express his delight with the game time he got.

“Back Doing What I Love #AFC," Iwobi wrote alongside a photo of him in action.

The game against Sunderland was his 25th Premier League appearance for Arsenal and he has scored three goals in the process.

Iwobi’s girlfriend of four years, Clarisse Juliette dumped him after accusing him of cheatin.

Juliette shared a photo of herself and the Nigeria international writing on it; “Once a cheater, always a cheater, it’s true people don’t change.”

Iwobi and Juliette who are known to show off their relationship on social media have both deleted other’s photos from their social media pages.

Juliette also shared a video on her Snapchat of her holding some dollar notes with the caption ‘you’ll never get your bitch back’.
