Spain national team winger Alex Baena stated that he and his teammates respect France ahead of tomorrow's World Cup semi-final, but insisted they wouldn't simply wait for an onslaught at their goal.
"Their four attackers are having a fantastic tournament, and we'll need to keep a close eye on them. But we'll try to make them watch us more than we watch them," Baena told reporters on Monday.
"Our strength lies in possessing the ball, keeping it in attack, and ensuring they attack us as little as possible. Hopefully, that will be the case tomorrow," added the Atlético Madrid player.
"It's true that we beat them in the last two matches, and that suited us, but every game is a world unto itself," Baena concluded.
