Nigerians have criticized former Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh for saying that the military under his leadership was ill-equipped.

Badeh made the comment on Thursday, July 31, 2015, while handing over to successor, Abayomi Olonishakin.
Nigerians however questioned the sincerity of Badeh’s statement asking why he waited till his departure from office before making the observation.
