Wadada, who described the project as ‘white elephant project,’ added that it has less impact on the lives of the people.

Speaking in Keffi on Wednesday, Wadada urged Al-Makura to focus in providing infrastructural development to the villages instead of constructing a Cargo airport.

“I have criticized the idea of airport of any kind by Gov. Al-Makura. Airport is not for the common man because it is not visible and there is economic hardship, lack and percentage payment of workers’ salaries, lack of infrastructural facilities among others”  Wadada added.
