Thankfully, despite the hype all the performers delivered really good music.

Falana started with different interesting renditions including playing a beautiful song from Cuba, her new track Re-infiltrator. And she nailed it with her instrument the 'Cajon'

Up next came a set from Adunni and Nefertiti, who held the crowd over with different songs from each tribe across Nigeria. They even gave us Hausa and Delta songs. How freaking cool is that?

Then, after a very pronounced delay, Brymo finally takes the stage, opening (fittingly) with the song “Waka Waka.” And there was much rejoicing.

He continued to kill it with a set that was heavy on both tracks from this year’s album and the classics that have yet to grow old. He even dished out 'Alajo Somolu' giving us some crazy Fela moves.

I am not kidding, he dances so well.

But then the heavens opened up, the crowd went batshit bananas insane, when he re-visited his hit track 'Ara n Be'

I cried guys, I cried.

All the performances were so awesome, it put me to tears. Plus the sound management was totally on point!
