Super Eagles forward eyeing another season at Leicester City amidst transfer rumours
Amidst transfer rumours trailing him,
Musa is expected to leave Leicester City following a dismal season after his £16million move last summer.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to and a return to Russia.
Amidst these reports, the forward is looking forward to the season at the club and has vowed to work harder to improve his situation.
"I know I have to work hard to get back in the starting line-up, my first season didn't go as well as I expected but this season will be better for me," Musa told Complete Sports.
Musa failed to recapture the form which made Leicester City sign him, scoring just four goals in 32 games.
The Nigeria forward had a torrid first season with the 2016 Premier League champions as he failed to recapture his CSKA Moscow form.
He was said to be one of the reasons in February after their Champions League first leg second round loss at Sevilla.
According to reports from England, Leicester City senior players were bemused with the coach’s decision to start Musa instead of Demarai Gray.
The players expressed their concerns in a meeting arranged by Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha after the game.
After the sacking of Ranieri, Musa saw fewer games under coach Craig Shakespeare.
