Bruce Jenner's interview draws huge ratings to TV network

Diane Sawyer’s exclusive interview with Bruce Jenner gathered nearly 17 Million viewers to ABC.

The interview which had viewers tune in to watch the former Olympian address his gender transition, drew 16.9 million viewers and a 5.2 rating among adults 18-49.

According to ABC, the tune in delivered the strongest showing of "20/20" in 15 year. The interview also drew 972,000 tweets from 403,000 different users, emerging as the most social Friday telecast of all time, sporting events excluded.

'I'm me. I'm a person. This is who I am. I'm not stuck in anybody's body. My brain is much more female than male." - Bruce said during the interview.
