Zenit got off to a much sharper start, racing out to an early double-digit lead (10-22). However, Lokomotiv rallied before the opening frame ended, cutting the deficit to just a single basket (22-24). The hosts completed the turnaround in the second quarter, heading into the halftime break with a 46-39 advantage.
