A Basketball Journey for the Ages: From Mornar, via Cluj, to Pablo Laso and the EuroLeague!

He was once the undisputed star for Mornar Bar, lighting up the nets in the ABA League. Now, the EuroLeague beckons, as "Basket News" reports he is set to sign with Anadolu Efes.

This move will mark his return to Turkey, where he previously played for Galatasaray, Manisa, and Karsiyaka. Before his standout season with Cluj last year, he also had a brief stint in Taipei.

He led the EuroCup in scoring with an impressive 19.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.4 steals in 27 minutes per game in Europe's second-tier competition.

Russell had previously signed with Monaco. He had agreed to terms with the principality club but backed out due to the uncertain situation surrounding the team, including their expulsion from the French league, which jeopardized their EuroCup participation. Furthermore, there's a possibility that Bosnia could take Monaco's spot in the second-tier European basketball competition.
