Is this car too expensive for the average Nigerian?

Find out why i can't figure out if this is an affordable car.

2014 Toyota Corolla

Yesterday, November 26th, i saw an article that called the 2014 Toyota Corolla an affordable car.

Immediately, my attention was captured, that is, until i saw the price tag.

According to this site, the average price of this car ranges between N4 to N6million.

Imagine my shock and surprise at that.

How can this car be affordable to the average Nigerian if it costs this much.

No doubt, it has some fantastic qualities, which include good fuel management (said to be it's selling point), a sporty design, a new active safety feature(it promises to ensure the safety for its occupants), and nice interior.

However, i do not think the average Nigerian can afford to spend that much on this car.
