Oba of Lagos' palace gutted by fire (VIDEO)

Officials of the Lagos state fire service are said to have arrived the palace, but the fire is reportedly still raging.

According to Daily Post, officials of Lagos state fire service have arrived at the scene working hard to put out the fire.

The cause of the inferno was not ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

It was gathered that the monarch is unhurt and has been taken to a safe place.

This is coming a few days after the Oba publicly snubbed the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

Multiple reports say a certain Tunde Awoyeni had claimed that the Ooni of Ife palace would invoke the wrath of his ancestors on the Oba of Lagos.

But the Oba Ogunwusi denied the statement, saying it did not emanate from his palace.
