A female suicide bomber blew herself up at a bus station in the capital on Sunday, February 15, in an attack that also reportedly left 32 people injured.

13 people have been confirmed dead in Yobe State after an explosion went off in Damaturu, the state capital.

The bomber is said to have hidden among the crowd at the station and then detonated the bomb at about 11am.

“The death toll from the suicide attack at the Damaturu motor park now stands at 13, with the death of six more victims at the hospital,” Yobe state police spokesman Toyin Gbadegesin told AFP.

“The remaining 26 are being treated for injuries they sustained in the attack,” Gbadegesin added.
