The victim's family is said to be in panic because the kidnappers have been unreachable since they made the demand last week.

Kidnap

Mr Nnamdi Abbah, a former Caretaker Committee Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, was on his way home last week when he was kidnapped around Alekahia axis of East-West Road, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.

According to Vanguard, a family source said that the abductors had reached a friend of Abbah's five days after the abduction took place.

The family is however said to be worried as the kidnappers have not been reachable after they contacted the family to demand the ransom.
