The airport in Benin, Edo State is expected to be shut for about four weeks, between June 20 and July 17, 2015.

The shutdown is in order for the airport management to carry out maintenance of the airport’s run-way to ease flight landing and take-off.
The directive to close the airport was reportedly given by the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
