According to the newly released pricing template for House Hold Kerosene of the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), kerosene will now sell at will now sell for N83.

This is coming after the Federal Government declared that it shall no longer continue payment of subsidy on kerosene.

The new template released the PPPRA showed that the retail or pump price of kerosene was now N10.72 higher than the Expected Open Market Price of the commodity.

This change will no doubt cause a lot of inconvenience, as a majority of the country’s population rely on kerosene, especially for domestic use.
