The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) is happening tonight Sunday 28th August at the Madison Square Garden in New York City and celebrities are already lighting up the red carpet.

The event kicked off with a pre-show hosted by DJ Khaled who walked the red carpet with fiancé in tow.
Beyonce made a dramatic red carpet appearance with Blue Ivy in tow in a fringe-y winged sheer piece with hair slicked in braids complete with smokey eye makeup look while Amber Rose chose an all black look donning a boob baring blazer and reflective shades with others pulling equally showstopping numbers.

Other celebrities include Joan Smalls, Stella maxwell, Snookie, Farrah Abraham and more. Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Ariana Grande and more are billed to perform later tonight at the event.
