Anthony Kulkamp Dias, 33, whipped out a guitar and started playing while his brain was being operated on by surgeons.

Two weeks after the birth of his son, Dias started noticing that he started forgetting things, including the make of his car. He also started stammering. He went to the hospital, and the doctors found a tumour in his brain.

Last week 90 percent of the tumour was successfully removed. During his operation Dias was conscious, a normal procedure during brain surgery. Surgeons prefer to keep their patients conscious so that the can monitor their speech coordination.

Instead of talking to the doctors Dias decided to play his guitar during his operation. The patient played 'Yesterday' by the Beatles and a song he composed for his son 'Emanuel'.
