Police respond to panicked call only to discover family was watching 'Walking Dead'

Great Falls police surrounded the home with weapons drawn after responding to the call of a neighbor who reported hearing screaming and gunshots coming from a nearby home around 7:30 p.m.

After the officers surrounded the building and entered the house, they discovered 2 adults and several children watching "Walking Dead" with nearby windows open.

Police soon realized that there was no threat as the family was simply watching the midseason premier of AMC's zombie drama The Walking Dead, and no further action was taken.
