Man shaves cats, sells them as hairless breeds
Report says the cat seller shaved the two kittens bare so that they can look like the Sphynx breed.
Sphynx cats are a rare breed of animals, coveted for their hairless body feature.
To achieve his own version of the kittens, the unknown fraudster shaved them and sold them for a pricey amount of $650 each.
Bastarche, who isn't the only victim of this sort of trick, reportedly met the seller in the night at a gas station.
This shouldn't have been all the clue she needed to confirm that something was fishy about the animals.
