Pastor behind car snatching gang arrested in Abia

A popular man of God in Abia State has been busted after it was discovered he was the brain behind the spate of robberies and car snatching in the area.

According to a Facebook user who is from the community, Airo Brown, worried about the spate of stolen cars in the area, the Vigilante group decided to make some investigations and got to realise that the pastor was the leader of the gang and whenever the vehicles are stolen, they are taken to him and he would change the number plates, repaint the cars and move them out of the town for onward sale.

The vigilante group then laid an ambush for the thieving man of God and he was caught red-handed. He was given the beating of his life and public disgrace before he was handed over to the police.
