Court remands man, 40, in prison for impersonation
32 year old man in court for stealing mobile phone.
The accused has been ordered to be remanded in prison custody pending the presentation of facts and sentences.

An Ota Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ogun, on Friday remanded a 40-year-old man in prison following his plea of guilty to charges of conspiracy and impersonation.

The accused, Waheed Dehinde, lives at No. 28 Ilo Awella Road, Ota.
Chief Magistrate Funke Odubanjo ordered that Dehinde should be remanded in prison custody pending the presentation of facts and sentences.
Odubanjo then, adjourned the case till Nov. 30.
The prosecutor, Cpl. Abdulkareem Mustapha, told the court that the accused and others still at large, committed the offence on Nov.17 at about 3.20 p.m. at Ota Magistrates Court, Ogun.

He said that the accused and his accomplices conspired to forge Cash Sales Invoice, Land Sales Receipt and voters card.
Mustapha said that the offences contravened Sections 467 and 516 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
