A 20-year-old man from Rufino, Santa Fe Province, Argentina, Manuel Mansilla, has been arrested for committing one of the most heinous crimes that country has even witnessed when the body of his 14-year-old girlfriend, Chiara Paez, was found buried in the backyard of his home, police say.
It is alleged that the girl was pregnant at the time of her disappearance and had refused to go for an abortion like he requested and during an argument over the pregnancy, Mansilla beat her up and and buried her alive.
The dead body of Paez who was eight weeks pregnant was found in his backyard three days after she was reported missing.
A post-mortem examination found abortion drugs in her system. Mansilla whom she had been dating for just over two months, reportedly participated in the search for Paez before confessing to the murder.

Mansilla, has been charged with aggravated murder, femicide and forced abortion.
