7-year-old girl dies while playing on Bouncy Castle

A violent wind is said to be responsible for the accident which led to the death of the little girl.

Tragedy hit a Park in Essex, London, this Easter period when a 7-year-old girl, Summer Grant, was reported dead while playing on Bouncy Castle.

Blackie was participating in an Easter celebration at Harlow Town Park, in Harlow, when a strong wind blew off the play object off its moorings.

She was immediately rushed to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries, only to be confirmed to have died later.

Tributes have rolled out in her memory in the town. It is an incident that has ruined the Easter mood for residents of the area.

Essex Police confirmed a 24-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, both from Cambridgeshire, have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence and remain in police custody.

It is the second bouncy castle disaster at Harlow Town Park in less than a year, after another collapsed with children inside in May 2015.
