On February 28, 2022, Nigerian singer, Fireboy DML was seen in new photos with the legendary Madonna. With both spotting dark colored outfits, some have rumoured that a collaboration might be on the cards.

The singer, whose single, 'Peru,' has been making waves across the world, has been living in the US for the past few weeks, as he looks set to become Nigeria's latest crossover success.

Both artists are set to collaborate on 'Frozen (Remix).' The original song was released in 1998, off Madonna's album, Ray of Light.

Putting Fireboy or a track with the legendary Madonna is good for unlocking a new demographic of older Americans and Europeans. Madonna is one of the best-selling acts ever and that comes with legacy and pedigree. She can still sell out millions of tickets on tour.

For Fireboy, it's also good for the optics and the perception. Subconsciously, people will perceive him differently. It's basically like collaborating with the female Michael Jackson.
