Eko Atlantic allegedly bars Davido from using its venue for his concert this December

The Eko Atlantic will not be the venue for Davido's end of the year concert this December.

It has been alleged that the managers of the Eko Atlantic City have barred the DMW boss from using its venue.

This news was shared by Davido on its social media pages on Tuesday, November 13, as he informed his fans that the venue he originally planned on using, Eko Atlantic, is no longer available for his use as it was not approved.

''So my show this December at eko Atlantic Was not approved ... I wonder why ?'' he captioned.

Davido then followed it up with another tweet which hinted that he knew the reason behind the denial and it was political.

''Nah the highest dem fit do be that! I will support who I want to support and will not switch sides over a f***ing Venue!!''

It will be recalled that during the recently held elections in Osun State, Davido fully aligned with the People Democratic Party [PDP] in support of his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, who was running for Governorship of the state.

Last year, the concert was held at the 'traditional home' of major events in Lagos, the Eko Hotel, which witnessed a packed capacity with the hall unable to contain the fans who had gathered.

This facilitated the need for a bigger venue leading to his intention to move it to the Eko Atlantic for this year's edition. Davido also revealed that this years edition, tagged 'City of David' concert will however go ahead on December 27, 2018 but is yet to announce a new venue.
