Aristokrat Records' new signee, Ria Sean releases new single, 'Lemonade'

Aristokrat Records is the label that's most-recognized for spotting Burna Boy's precocious talent as a UK returnee in 2011. The Piriye Isokrari-founded company has since moved on to greater heights and signed numerous other artists while branching out into distribution and audio content production.

On Thursday, June 3, 2021, the label announced the signing of Ria Sean, a talented singer who has been buzzing in the Nigerian underground for a minute. In 2019, she featured on 'Feelings' off the Sounds From The Basement Gig Vol. 1 album.

A statement on Arisokrat's Instagram page reads, "Welcome Queen @theriasean to the @aristokratrecords family. We are excited to share all the great things you’ve been working on with the world. Her new single, 'Lemonade'' is produced, mixed, and mastered by Randay. The sultry track describes a fiery, all-consuming love story where the couple find themselves in an endless cycle between love, hate, and intense passion.

A video for the song is directed by Perliks Definition and it tells the story of the different stages of a toxic relationship.

Through her deal with Aristokrat Records, Ria Sean is signed to Island Def Jam Recordings.
