The Therapist is an artist who has experienced multiple worlds and this makes him into a unique character. If his smooth face, light skin, and curly long hair paint him as an explorer drawn to Afrobeats' enchanting elements, his command of Afrobeats stylism and infectious personality quickly corrects this narrative.

The rare feat of scoring a hit with his debut single and growing an impressive followership that spans over 3 million on his social media pages indicates that The Therapist is a born star to whom many are easily drawn.

It's this intention to become a superstar flying his country's flag that informs his latest single '4X4' on which he collaborates with era-defining producer Magicsticks and South African hitmaker Tyler ICU.

The party starter picks off from where he dropped off with 'Knack' and The Therapist wants listeners to brace themselves for his journey to the top.

The Therapist is upbeat about his new single "I feel great. My new project is something fresh. Mixing Amapiano and Afrobeats is nothing new to me," he says with the conviction of a hitmaker.

"I like to work when I see the music and I am enjoying the process. My typical creative process is based on vibes. I like to be myself," he says on the creative process that is easily reconcilable with the infectious personality that earned him over 3 million followers on TikTok.

Like most stars, The Therapist was drawn to music at a young age after being drawn to the works of P-square, Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, and Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti.

"I love Afrobeats and that really influenced me," he says on his journey to becoming an artist and the stars whose works encouraged him to chase his dream.

After impacting the mainstream with his hit single 'Knack', The Therapist scored a remix with hitmaker Mayorkun. The fast-rising star intends to collaborate with Africa's biggest stars on his way to superstardom.

"I'm looking forward to collaborating with a lot of people, from Asake to Burna Boy, Davido, P-Square, and all the big names in the scene."

"I have a lot of great things, more hits coming out. More music and also touring. I'm heading for the Grammys, hopefully."

While he might be just two songs into his career, The Therapist is already a notable ambassador of his country. This is a responsibility he embraces. One that inspires him to go for glory.

"I want to have a lot of hits and put my country on the map. I really do want my music to be known and see people sing my songs back to me. I want to top charts and bag awards too," he says about his plan for the future.

With a bold talent amplified by his infectious personality, The Therapist gives listeners a reason to hold the sentiments that stars are born not made.
