Here's a first-look at Chinonso Arubayi and IK Ogbonna in new romcom 'I Am Nazzy'

The Arubayi produced romantic comedy debuts in April.

Actress turned producer, Chinonso Arubayi has unveiled a first-look at her soon-to-premiere feature film titled 'I Am Nazzy'.

The romantic comedy directed by Kayode Peters ( 'My Flatmates') follows the story of a fast rising music artiste whose picture- perfect life suddenly goes haywire when she accidentally switches places with a doppelganger.

All attempts to prove her identity turns futile and she is subjected to a whole new life without the glitz and glamour.

'I Am Nazzy' stars Chinonso Arubayi in the lead role alongside IK Ogbonna, Jidekene Achufusi, Jimmy Odukoya, Denrele Edun, Nons Miraj among others.

Speaking on the film, Arubayi who doubles as producer revealed that the romcom weighs heavily on themes such as mental health advocacy.

"The movie is an exciting romantic comedy that advocates for mental health. It is nothing like you’ve seen from Nollywood," Arubayi shared on Instagram.

The romcom will premiere in cinemas on April 1, 2022.
