This is how much superhero movie is predicted to make during opening weekend

"Black Panther," Marvel's anticipated superhero movie, is tracking for a massive $165M U.S. debut.

According to Hollywood's tracking service NRG, if the movie is able to achieve this, it would be the highest February debut of all time. The 2016 "Deadpool" currently holds the record with $152.2 million.

The highest openings in North America is led by "The Avengers" with $207.4 million, followed by "Avengers: Age of Ultron " with $191.3 million and then "Captain America: Civil War " with $179.1.

NRG had initially predicted a  domestic opening of $125 million for the critically acclaimed film, which is also the first Marvel film to feature a black protagonist, a black director and a predominantly black cast.

Already, it has set pre-sales records as Marvel's fastest-selling movie in the first 24 hours.

"Black Panther" features Chadwick Boseman as the titular character, Forest Whitaker as Zuri, Michael B. Jordan as Eric Killmonger and Angela Bassett as Ramonda.

It also stars Sterling K. Brown, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba and Danai Gurira.

About "Black Panther" movie

"Black Panther" follows T’Challa who, after the events of "Captain America: Civil War," returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King.

However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.
