Iconic singer Princedied from an alleged overdose at his Paisley Park compound, Minnesota on April 21 and reports claim he had no children but a man from Kansas City named Carlin Q. Williams is claiming to be Prince's son.

According to CBS News, Williams has filed his paternity claim in Carver County, Minnesota, against the late singer's estate, (worth almost a billion dollars) alleging to be the "sole surviving legal heir" and is requesting a DNA test.

Williams' mother, Marsha Henson, said in a statement that she had unprotected sex with the 'Purple Rain' singer at a hotel in Kansas City back in July 1976.

As a result of such claims, a Minnesota judge on Friday, May 6, has authorized the use of Prince’s blood for DNA testing to determine “parentage issues.” A vial of the music icon’s blood was extracted by the Midwest Medical Examiner shortly after his death. His remains have since been cremated.

As we previously reported, the legendary musician’s autopsy and toxicology results are still pending, and his cause of death is being investigated by the DEA and U.S. attorney’s office.

Prince left behind no will and no living children. He died at the age of 57.
