Big Brother Naija winner gets chieftaincy title
Efe of Big Brother Naija winner gets a chieftaincy title in Delta state.
Efe Ejeba is now the Prince of Okpe kingdom, in Delta. The honour was bestowed on him on Thursday, May 4, 2017, by Major Gen. Felix Mujakperuo who is the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom.
According to Daily Independent, Efe came in a convoy from Benin. He was welcomed by the Orodje and six other traditional rulers. One of the rulers was Ovie of Ughelli.
The traditional ceremony had other dignitaries such as traditional chiefs, politicians and former minister of information, Prof Sam Oyovbaire in attendance.
The Orodje of Okpe Kingdom said he decided to bestow this honour on Efe because he wants the world to know that Niger-Delta youths are not thieves and violent.
On April 30, 2017 Efe dropped his highly anticipated single 'Based On Logistics'.
The BBN winner received his cheque of the 25 million Naira prize money, and a key to a brand new KIA Sorento car on April 11, 2017, at Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria.
The press conference was attended by the Big Brother Naija runner-up, Bisola. Former housemates including Bally, Soma, Gifty, TTT, Jon, CocoIce and Bassey were also in attendance.
Speaking at the event, Regional Director M-Net/Africa Magic, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, revealed that the recently concluded Big Brother Naija show recorded over 26 million votes.
