27-year-old 'Gen V' actor Chance Perdomo dies in motorcycle accident

The British-American actor's death was confirmed by his agent.

Chance Perdomo, a young actor known from the series Gen V and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, tragically died in a motorcycle accident.

The circumstances of the incident remain unknown. The British-American actor's death was confirmed by his agent on Saturday, March 30. Pedromo was only 27 years old.

Perdomo was born in 1996 in Los Angeles. As a child, he moved with his mother to Southampton, England. Despite initial plans to study law, he decided to pursue an acting career, joining the National Youth Theater and studying at the Identity School of Acting.

Perdomo rose to prominence for his role as Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. He appeared in four seasons from 2018 to 2020. He also starred in Killed by My Debt, for which he was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. In the series Gen V he played Andre Anderson, a student at Godolkin University with magnetic manipulation abilities. Production of the second season was suspended indefinitely after the actor's death.

"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely death of Chance Perdomo as a result of a motorcycle accident. According to authorities, no other people were involved in the incident. Perdomo, known for his insatiable appetite for life and passion for art, will leave a void in our hearts. those who loved him. We ask you to respect the privacy of the family who are experiencing the loss of their beloved son and brother," said the actor's agent.

At the moment, the location of the tragic event is unknown. Los Angeles Police Department officials have not confirmed whether Perdomo's death occurred in Los Angeles.

"We cannot understand it. Chance has always been a smiling, enthusiastic man, an incredibly talented artist and, above all, an extremely nice, charming person. Even writing about him in the past tense seems impossible. We express our condolences to Chance's family and We mourn the loss of our friend and colleague. Remember to hug your loved ones tightly today," reads the statement from the producers of the Gen V series.
