Students in Ogun state students will stay home longer than was planned as Nigerian continues efforts to contain the spread of the Ebola Virus Disease

Primary and secondary school in Ogun State will remain shut beyond the earlier scheduled date, Monday 15th of September 2014, over Ebola Virus Disease fears.

According to the Ogun State commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Segun Odubela, the new resumption has not yet been decided.
Odubela said the decision was influenced by a Federal Ministry of Education’s directive that schools should postpone resumption as the nation battles the the deadly Ebola Virus.
