Female 300-level student dies after suffering partial stroke

A female student of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Edeki Lucky, has died following a brief illness at the weekend.

Lucky, a 300-level Language and Linguistics student, reportedly died of partial stroke at the Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH), Oghara.

Lucky's roommate, identified as Vera in a Leadership report, said the deceased slumped in her room at Ethiope Hall of the university, on a Saturday evening, and was rushed to the university's Health Centre.

Vera said the late student was subsequently transferred to Eku Hospital and thereafter to DELSUTH where she was diagnosed of partial stroke and treated until she passed away.

Though details of her death are still sketchy, Student Pulse gathered that Lucky had previously complained of headaches before she took ill.
