Milans Big Spending

Despite massive spending during the summer that saw players like Giorgio Chiellini, HakanCalhanoglu and FranckKessie join the club, they are presently seventh in the league, 11 points off fourth position which would get them a place in Europe next season.

Poor performance and inability to get the best out of the new players are most likely the main reasons for Montella’s ousting.
